MOT TESTING AND ANNUAL VEHICLE SAFETY CHECKS
We provide comprehensive MOT testing to ensure your vehicle meets legal safety standards, covering emissions, roadworthiness, and overall safety. An MOT must be carried out at an approved MOT test centre, and your mechanic can collect and return your car as part of the service. Please note that since May 2018, it is illegal for a vehicle that fails its MOT with a ‘dangerous’ defect to leave the test premises until fixed. Our service also includes oil and filter checks, general safety assessments, and transparent pricing to make annual and interim servicing simple, affordable, and stress-free.

COMMON REASONS FOR TEST FAILURES
We know that most test failures are caused by minor, easily fixable issues. The most frequent problems we see include faulty bulbs, tyre tread below 1.6mm, and empty windscreen washer fluid. If your vehicle needs work to pass, we provide a clear quotation beforehand and offer guidance on any areas you may be unsure about, helping you achieve a smooth and successful inspection. While here, you can also explore our car diagnostics and engine carbon cleaning services for added peace of mind.
IS YOUR MOT DUE? BOOK IN NOW!
Once your car passes, we provide a certificate showing the test date and expiry, so you know when the next inspection is due. Retests can be done up to a month (minus a day) before expiry. For new vehicles, the first MOT will be due after three years, and we provide this information when you purchase your car.

THOROUGH MOT CHECKS AND RETESTING
We know that even with modern engineering, issues can occur without you noticing. The official annual test is an important safety check to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy. After testing, we provide the official VT20 certificate, which records the results on the MOT database. Any recommended work will be listed on the advisory VT32 notice, helping you address potential issues promptly and safely.
